I've had many online relationships since 1996 when i frst had my MAC. The only thing they had in common was their brevity. Most of them lasted for years ut eventually fizzeled out. Some people just disappeared in cyberspace --- one day there, next day gone forever. it used to break my heart. some ended through mutual indifference, some through death.
You can feel every emotion online that you do in real time. at least i could. from tolerance to enjoyment through lust and respect to great affection.
Where are these people now i wonder. do they ever think of me?
